Believe it or not, PrepYou.Eu started life nearly seven years ago delivering training to actors from Eastern Europe’s largest film studio, Nu Boyana. Since then, PrepYou.Eu DS (Directing Staff) has been involved in several Hollywood movies and international TV productions at all THREE studios based in Sofia including The Hit Mans Bodyguard, The Outpost and Hellboy to name but a few with more in production!

Our First EVER Actros Training Course in 2017

Since then, we have trained literally thousands of civilian students – including several Bulgarian and international actors – in “General Weapon Competency” alongside our regular students. Recently, there has been a lot of attention paid to Firearm Safety on Set, and as a result of the now-infamous “Rust Incident” which saw Hollywood A-Lister Alec Baldwin shoot dead one of his colleagues on set in 2021.

In our opinion, Baldwin was 100% responsible for the death of his colleague not only being the “operator” of the weapon that killed her but also being a Producer of the production. Mr Baldwin benefits from a vast family fortune and a suitably expensive legal team. Will he face trial?

As a result of this massive failure of protocol on set, we have re-designed our original Actors Training Package to not only address the issue of making sure all actors are suitably trained to use all types of firearm from airsoft, blank and live firing weapon systems as well as all the handover and safety protocols which should be observed on every single production regardless of location.

This course cover 19 modules that can be delivered individually for students living in Bulgaria or as a four-day residential training course based at our Team House in Boyana, Sofia, just 500 meters away from Nu Boyana.

ShowReels

We are well used to all types of students wanting to take away memories of their training experience with PrepYou.Eu and obviously, actors have an added reason to record their progress; ShowReels!

We provide suitable equipment to help you capture your progress for every Training Module and

have the experience to place your cameras in the best locations around the training facilities to allow you to capture a massive amount of raw footage to edit yourself into your own masterpiece! On top of this, we will also be recording your Assessment Days (Confirmation of Learning) which will be themed around scenarios from popular action movies we have previously discussed in other Modules. This will usually involve drone footage and multiple static cameras to capture you and your fellow “Operators” use of live weapons and pyrotechnics under realistic but controlled scenarios.

Any experienced camera operators are also welcome to join the Modules and assist with our ShowReel production.
