The Sniper Group – Sniper Shooting Experience Sofia is our most popular two-person rifle training package, built around the same curriculum as our sought-after Private Lessons. Over three hours, you and your companion will handle a carefully selected range of long guns, carbines and Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR) — including the iconic Dragunov SVD — under the dedicated supervision of former NATO instructors. With 350 rounds included and a modern optics package featuring red-dot sights and range extenders, this is a genuine training experience, not a fairground shoot.
Whether you have never held a firearm before or you are an experienced shooter looking to go further, this session is structured to challenge and reward you both. Your instructor will guide you from safe handling and zeroing your optic, right through to engaging targets at extended range using real-life sniper scenarios. You will leave with skills, stories and a very clear idea of why Bulgaria is Europe’s most exciting destination for this kind of experience.
As standard, your instructors will walk you through everything you need to know about each weapon system — from safe and effective operation under pressure to field stripping and maintenance if you wish. No prior experience is required. Our instructors work regularly with complete beginners, corporate groups and seasoned shooters alike, and English-speaking instruction is provided throughout.

- All participants must be aged 18 or over
- 5.56mm NATO ammunition is charged at an additional €0.45 per round
- Additional ammunition can be purchased at the range on the day
- No prior firearms experience is required — complete beginners are very welcome

Is This Sniper Experience Suitable for Complete Beginners?
Absolutely. The majority of guests who book our Sniper Group experience have never fired a rifle before. Our instructors are specifically trained to bring novice shooters up to speed safely and efficiently, so that by the time you are engaging targets at distance with the Dragunov SVD, you will feel confident and in control. There is nothing to fear — only a great deal to enjoy.
If you are travelling with a partner or friend and only one of you has shooting experience, that is perfectly fine too. Your instructor will calibrate the session to suit both of you, ensuring that the more experienced shooter is challenged whilst the beginner is fully supported.
